Meet Bloggie

Projector Central would like to introduce you to bloggie; a truly portable pocket-sized camera from Sony that lets you capture, upload and share all the action in High Definition. The software and functionality of bloggie has been designed to link up perfectly with the world’s most popular video uploading sites. Bloggie is similar to other products already on the market such as the JVC Pico and the Cisco Flip. These small pocket sized cameras are designed for those little moments in the day that you want to share with everybody.

Bloggie comes in 4 colours, white, blue, pink and purple. What’s cool about bloggie that sets itself apart from other pocket cameras is the fact that it features a rotating lens, which allows you to swivel the camera lens for self recording or shooting at obscure angles. Not only does bloggie record video at Full HD 1920x 1080P resolution, Bloggie will also capture still images are an amazing 5 mega pixels.

What we find extraordinary about Bloggie is that the supplied software (Picture Motion Portable) is pre installed inside bloggie allowing you to upload without having to install additional software. Sony has also decided to finally adopt the SD card recording format with Bloggie as well as Sony’s standard memory stick approach. Bloggie also comes with a unique 360 degree lens that pops on top of the camera and lets you record 360 degree video as you walk, simular to Google Street View.

Over all Bloggie is probably one of the most fascinating new products this year. Schools in particular are showing a lot of interest in pocket cameras as a quick and easy way to monitor student progress throughout a school year.

Bloggie sells for $279 and is shipping now from our online store www.projectorcentral.com.au
